I'm a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, knowledge assessed (CPDT-KA), working in the Los Angeles area. I have a graduate education in animal learning and behavior. I'm currently working toward earning my certification in Behavior Adjustment Training (BAT) for dogs who over react (bark/lunge/growl or cower) when on leash. I've been a professional dog trainer and behavior consultant for about 7 years and take great pleasure in continuing my education and honing my skills.
I attended University of Montana, Missoula - Experimental Psychology PhD program and then transferred to the University of Louisiana - Lafayette - Cognitive Science PhD program.
I completed all of the coursework required for the PhD, but due to some of life's curve balls I never actually defended a dissertation.
I also publish articles periodically in a local pet-related paper called the Pet Press, available throughout southern California.
